Slav 4…a6 5.a4[D15]-TWIC 965

Slav 4…a6(The Chebanenko Slav)
This branch of the Slav is now a major opening. Various ways to break this defence have been suggested and tried. The main positional line is 5.c5 which is advocated by Schandorff in Playing 1.d4-The Queen's Gambit(Quality Chess 2012).
